A very serious platform for very unserious people.
OnlyDevs is what happens when you take the visual language of a subscription platform and point it at the only thing developers love more than shipping: talking about shipping.
It started with one too many standups.
Somewhere between the third “quick sync” of the morning and a Jira ticket with fourteen paragraphs of acceptance criteria, we realised something: the most interesting part of software is not the software. It is the people.
The COBOL lifer who has seen your bank balance. The QA engineer who found the bug in the empty state. The architect who has never deployed anything but has approved 4,000 deployments. The intern who force-pushed to main and learned a valuable lesson about backups. These are the characters that make this industry what it is: a deeply weird place full of smart people doing slightly unreasonable things.
OnlyDevs is a parody of the creator economy, built for the people who make it run. There is no product. There are no accounts. There is no payment. There is only a directory of fictional developers, a lot of hand-typed CSS, and a shared understanding that production is a state of mind.
“Finally, a place where ‘it works on my machine’ is treated as a valid lifestyle rather than a cry for help.” — someone in the group chat, probably
Safe for work, always. No nudity, no harassment, no real people, no real payments. If you came here looking for something else, may we recommend a productive hobby, such as writing tests.
Built by hand.Static HTML, hand-written CSS, self-hosted fonts, and almost no JavaScript. The site is faster than your onboarding flow. We are as surprised as you are.
Values we can actually ship.
Craft over content
We celebrate the work behind the work: the naming, the review, the rollback plan. The unglamorous bits that actually make software.
Safe for work, always
No nudity, no harassment, no real people. Just the gentle humiliation of watching someone discover a missing semicolon on a livestream.
Human-typed since 2026
No AI-generated bios, no synthetic engagement, no growth hacks. Every stereotype is artisanal, small-batch, and locally sourced.
Consent is the architecture
The developers are fictional. The subscriptions are fictional. The only real thing here is the shared understanding that production is a state of mind.
People who definitely exist.
Four fictional colleagues with strong opinions and no performance review process. Any resemblance to your actual leadership team is a coincidence we are not prepared to discuss.
Ada Semicolon
Head of Vibes
Once closed fourteen tabs. Will do it again. Believes every meeting could be a strongly worded document.
Grace Nullpointer
Chief Trust & Safety Officer
Trusts no one. Reviews everything. Has a personal vendetta against unhandled promise rejections.
Linus McMerge
Director of Developer Experience
Has opinions about your branch name. Will share them. Has never force-pushed without a backup.
Brenda Backlog
Head of Ceremonies
Her calendar is a threat model. Has facilitated 3,000 standups and blocked zero blockers.
Have a story and no audience?
We are always looking for developers with a point of view, a rollback plan, and at least one unresolved feeling about a code review. Auditions are pretend, but the craft is real.
- Bring a monorepo. We will not look at it, but we will respect it.
- A strong opinion about tabs, spaces, or the Oxford comma.
- One production incident you have not fully processed.
- No AI-generated bios. We can tell. The Jira epics are too short.
58 developers. Zero expectations.
Browse the directory, read a profile, watch a quiet debugging stream. There is no onboarding flow and no email sequence. You are already done.
